The Northumberland Healthy Schools Programme is free to all educational establishments. It extends and enhances the work an education organisation is already doing. In particular, it builds on existing good practice and strengths.
This national programme provides a standards framework and quality assurance process to support schools in the following themes:
PSHE, including Sex & Relationships Education and Drug, Alcohol, Tobacco and volatile substance abuse education.
Healthy Eating
Physical Activity
Emotional Health and Well Being
